| After an impressive 11-1 regular season record under head coach, Nick Saban, LSU went on to win their first national championship since 1958. Crowned BCS National Champions, The Tigers defeated the Oklahoma Sooners by a score of 21-14 in the 2003 Sugar Bowl. Highlights included 117 rushing yards from LSU freshman, Justin Vincent, and a Marcus Spears touchdown, which was scored off of an interception. LSU never trailed in the game. |
